Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has instructed officials to take strict action against individuals involved in illegal religious conversions and government employees engaging in political activities. During a review meeting in Banswara, CM Sharma announced plans to develop sandalwood forests with 11,000 saplings to be planted in each designated area under the Hariyalo Rajasthan campaign.
He urged the Forest Department to accelerate plantation drives and enhance efforts for forest conservation. Additionally, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of field inspections, rural visits, and timely resolution of public grievances. During his tour, he chaired a meeting to assess the progress of various government schemes and welfare programs in Banswara and Dungarpur districts.
CM Sharma stressed the need for officials to work with sensitivity and dedication to ensure that government welfare schemes benefit eligible recipients without delay. Expressing dissatisfaction with the Municipal Council Commissioner, he directed action against him and issued orders placing the commissioner under Awaited Posting Order status.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister highlighted the significance of water self-sufficiency before the monsoon season and called for proper maintenance of water bodies. He reviewed projects related to water conservation, irrigation, and rural infrastructure development, emphasizing the completion of long-term projects with quality standards. Sharma reiterated the government’s stance on law and order, instructing officials to address illegal religious conversions and political activities seriously.
