Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra expressed disappointment with the Union Budget, stating that despite the Chief Minister’s numerous visits to Delhi, Rajasthan did not receive any financial allocation. Dotasra highlighted the lack of relief for the poor, Dalits, and backward classes, emphasizing the neglect of crucial sectors for Rajasthan’s development.
He pointed out the absence of special packages for tourism and water-related projects, despite the state’s potential in these areas. Dotasra also criticized the budget for not addressing issues such as income tax relief, unemployment, and water scarcity, which are significant concerns for the state.
Moreover, he mentioned the budget’s failure to meet public expectations, citing the disappointment reflected in the stock market reaction. Dotasra criticized BJP leaders for praising the budget, suggesting that their support was aimed at pleasing the high command rather than addressing the actual needs of the people.
