Kumari stressed the importance of completing projects on time to boost Rajasthan’s tourism sector.
At a Tourism Department meeting, Kumari directed officials to work diligently to elevate Rajasthan’s tourism profile worldwide. She underscored the need for timely project execution to enhance the state’s standing in the international travel and hospitality arena. The Deputy Chief Minister emphasized the importance of meeting deadlines to advance Rajasthan Tourism’s global recognition.
During the review meeting, Kumari discussed the potential of Astro Tourism in Rajasthan, considering its clear skies and low light pollution. Officials explored the idea of creating ‘Dark Sky Reserves’ in western Rajasthan for stargazing tourism. Kumari also focused on transforming the Jaisalmer-Barmer region into a premier desert adventure destination, inspired by Dubai’s success.
Kumari highlighted the necessity of developing an AI-powered tourism app for enhanced visitor experiences. The meeting also covered plans for promoting Observatory Tourism in Mount Abu and enhancing tourism in Rajasthan’s desert areas. Discussions included proposals for celebrating Jaipur’s 300th foundation anniversary in 2027 and beautifying heritage sites in Shekhawati and Jaipur.
