Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari traveled from Jaipur to Ajmer by train in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to reduce fuel consumption due to the global energy crisis stemming from West Asia’s conflict.
During her journey, Kumari engaged with fellow passengers, emphasizing the significance of prioritizing ‘Rashtra Pratham’ (Nation First) and advocating for public transport to conserve energy, protect the environment, and bolster economic growth.
In alignment with PM Modi’s vision, Kumari underscored the need to transform public transport into a people’s movement for energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and economic prosperity, stating that every citizen’s contribution is vital for nation-building efforts.
The BJP launched the ‘Mera Bharat, Mera Yogdan’ campaign nationwide to encourage citizens to support national interests, conserve energy, and adopt simpler lifestyles following PM Modi’s fuel conservation appeal. Party members will integrate these principles into their activities, while citizens are urged to avoid unnecessary expenses like gold purchases and foreign travel, and endorse indigenous products.
Leaders across the political spectrum, including Union Ministers and Chief Ministers, are embracing fuel-saving measures like using public transport and electric vehicles, and reducing convoy sizes to promote energy conservation, in response to PM Modi’s initiative.
