Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism, Art, and Culture Minister, Diya Kumari, led a review meeting at Paryatan Bhawan in Jaipur to assess the progress of key projects and preparations for the city’s 300th foundation anniversary celebrations. Attendees included Government Secretary Shuchi Tyagi, Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riar, and other senior officials.
Diya Kumari emphasized the significance of Jaipur’s tricentennial celebrations in enhancing the city’s heritage branding and promoting Rajasthan globally. She highlighted the potential of integrating Jaipur’s rich heritage with the state’s cultural and historical aspects to position Rajasthan as a top international tourism destination. The Deputy Chief Minister issued directives to ensure the effective planning and execution of the anniversary celebrations.
During the meeting, discussions revolved around transforming Jawahar Kala Kendra and Shilpgram into world-class art and culture centers. Additionally, deliberations took place concerning the development of the Tanot Mata Temple complex, the Pushkar Development Project, and promotional campaigns for tourism, among other ongoing initiatives. Diya Kumari stressed the importance of completing all tourism and cultural projects within set timelines to enhance Rajasthan’s tourism infrastructure and global appeal.
