Santosh Devi, known as Rajasthan’s daughter, has been chosen to participate in the Republic Day celebrations in the state capital. Hailing from Beri village in Sikar district, she gained recognition for successfully growing pomegranates and apples in arid land, a remarkable achievement. The invitation, received via post, has brought immense pride and joy to her fellow villagers.

Santosh Devi’s dedication and hard work led to her selection, symbolizing women’s empowerment and farmer respect. Her innovative approach to farming, especially in pomegranate cultivation, has garnered acclaim at both district and state levels. This honor is not only a personal achievement but also a source of inspiration for women farmers in the region.

Speaking about her accomplishment, Santosh Devi expressed her happiness at receiving the invitation from Rashtrapati Bhavan. Her commitment to chemical-free farming and cultivation of fruits under challenging conditions has set an example for sustainable agriculture. Through her efforts, she aims to empower women to pursue horticulture for livelihood and contribute to environmental conservation.
