In a significant move, the Rajasthan government has reshuffled 18 IPS officers, including two Director General (DG) rank officers and key positions like Jodhpur Police Commissioner and Inspectors General (IGs) of Ajmer and Bharatpur ranges. The revamp also involves the appointment of new Superintendents of Police (SPs) in four districts, with the Balotra SP, known for a refinery incident, being replaced from the field posting. The Jodhpur Commissioner has also been replaced in less than five months.
Anil Paliwal has been reassigned from DG (Training and Traffic) to DG and Commandant General, Home Guards in Jaipur, while Malini Agarwal takes over as DG (Police Traffic) from her previous role. Pradeep Mohan Sharma moves from the Intelligence Training Academy to Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic and Administration) in Jaipur. Ajay Singh Rathore transitions to Commandant, 7th Battalion RAC in Bharatpur from ASP (Kishangarh Circle).
Anushtha Kalia moves to the Jaipur Police Commissionerate from ASP (Bikaner Sadar) and DCP (Headquarters). Notable transfers include the IGs of Ajmer and Bharatpur ranges, with Rajendra Singh and Kailash Chand Bishnoi taking up new roles in Jaipur. Dr Ravi and Dr Preeti Chandra also assume new responsibilities in the police administration.
Sharat Kaviraj, the former Jodhpur Police Commissioner, now serves as IG (Crime Branch), with Anshuman Bhomia stepping in as the new Commissioner. Several other officers have been reassigned to different positions within the police hierarchy, including SPs and IGs in various regions of Rajasthan.
