The alleged masterminds behind the Rajasthan NEET-2026 paper leak, Mangilal and Dinesh Binwal, come from a family known for producing five medical students. Despite investigations into their wealth and political ties, family members assert the brothers’ innocence, stating their involvement solely in real estate. Dinesh Binwal had proudly shared on social media about family members securing admissions through NEET.
Family members have confirmed that two daughters of Dinesh’s late elder brother and another daughter, along with Dinesh’s son, have successfully cleared NEET in recent years. However, they have not disclosed the identity of the fifth candidate mentioned in a social media post. Investigators suspect that Mangilal’s son, a NEET-2026 candidate, may have accessed the leaked question paper, leading to scrutiny of the Binwal brothers.
The Special Operations Group (SOG) in Rajasthan revealed that the brothers allegedly acquired the leaked paper from Gurugram before the exam by paying an advance sum. It is believed that over 1,000 candidates in Rajasthan may have received the leaked paper. The SOG is delving into the financial and political backgrounds of the accused, who reside in Jamwa Ramgarh tehsil, near Jaipur, and were arrested following intelligence inputs.
Mangilal and Dinesh Binwal, residing in a lavish farmhouse, are suspected of having ties with a Gurugram-based group involved in the paper leak. Despite allegations, family members maintain the brothers’ innocence, emphasizing their real estate dealings. The accused have alleged that influential individuals are being protected during the investigation, with claims of innocence from family members.
