Government officials and industry leaders, including IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, will participate in discussions on AI’s role in governance, economic growth, and inclusive development.
The conference will focus on various aspects of AI, such as its impact on public service delivery, ethical considerations, and its influence on employment and skills. Additionally, sessions will explore the potential of AI startups in Rajasthan and address strategic questions about transitioning from an outsourcing model to creating intellectual property. Experts will also analyze global, national, and regional AI strategies, with insights from IIT Jodhpur on developing locally relevant AI solutions.
In parallel, the Human Capital Working Group Meeting, organized by IndiaAI in collaboration with the Government of Assam and IIT Guwahati, will convene on January 5-6, 2026. This meeting will focus on inclusive and responsible approaches to AI-led workforce transition, emphasizing education reform, gender-inclusive strategies, and enhancing human capabilities through AI adoption. The goal is to ensure that AI empowers human potential without displacing it.
