Amadou Soukouna’s goal in the first half led Rajasthan United FC to a hard-fought 1-0 win against Real Kashmir FC in the Indian Football League (IFL) 2025-26 at Jaipur’s Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium. Real Kashmir faced challenges with two players sent off, ultimately positioning Rajasthan at the top of the table with seven points, while Real Kashmir dropped to the bottom with two points. Soukouna’s performance earned him the Player of the Match title.

The match began with Rajasthan dominating possession and creating early opportunities. Real Kashmir’s defense, led by Basit Ahmed Bhat and Habib Fofana, held strong against Rajasthan’s attacks. Despite chances for both sides, it was Soukouna who broke the deadlock just before halftime with a well-placed strike, giving Rajasthan the lead.

Real Kashmir attempted to equalize in the second half but faced difficulties after Fofana received a second yellow card, leaving them with ten players. Both teams had opportunities in the closing stages, but Rajasthan’s defense held firm. Soukouna’s goal remained the decider, securing a 1-0 victory for Rajasthan United FC.
