Actor Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra’s dark comedy film “Toaster” is set to debut on Netflix on April 15. This movie, produced under Rajkummar and Patralekhaa’s banner Kampa Film, features a star-studded cast including Abhishek Banerjee, Archana Puran Singh, Farah Khan, and others.

The storyline revolves around a frugal man who becomes unreasonably fixated on a toaster he gifted to a newlywed couple, leading to a series of chaotic events involving murder and mayhem. “Toaster” marks Rajkummar Rao’s fifth collaboration with Netflix, following successful projects like “Ludo” and “The White Tiger.”

Director of Original Films at Netflix India, Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh, describes “Toaster” as a quirky dark comedy that showcases inventive storytelling. The film, directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary and produced by Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao, highlights emerging talent behind the camera and promises a burst of fresh creative energy.

Patralekhaa, the producer at Kampa Film, expressed excitement about the project, emphasizing the unique humor found in unexpected situations. The ensemble cast, led by Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, is expected to deliver an entertaining and unpredictable cinematic experience for audiences.
