Singh, speaking at the unveiling of Shekhawat’s statue in Jodhpur, praised the late leader’s values of integrity, transparency, and ethical governance. He lauded Shekhawat’s journey from humble beginnings to the Vice Presidency, citing it as an inspiration for many. Singh emphasized that Shekhawat’s principles and dedication to duty serve as guiding lights for both society and political realms.
Recalling Shekhawat’s contributions, Singh underlined the late Vice President’s focus on prosperity for every household, employment for all, and dignity for every citizen in Rajasthan. He noted the ongoing rapid development in India and Rajasthan, acknowledging the global recognition of India’s progress under PM Modi’s leadership. Singh reiterated that the concept of “One Nation, One Election” stemmed from Shekhawat’s belief in the efficiency of simultaneous elections for sustained development.
