Singh commended India’s armed forces for showcasing remarkable military prowess through operations like the 2016 surgical strikes, the 2019 Balakot airstrikes, and the recent “Operation Sindoor.” Addressing the Pahalgam terror incident, he emphasized India’s firm response, asserting the nation’s readiness to defend its citizens even beyond borders. The Defence Minister also underscored the importance of women empowerment, highlighting initiatives such as “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” and the Nari Shakti Vandan Amendment Act aimed at enhancing women’s representation and safety.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma lauded the rapid modernization of India’s armed forces under the Prime Minister’s guidance and the Defence Minister’s leadership.
