In light of the recent donation controversy, Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Misra expressed optimism that the new setup at the Ram Mandir, which includes the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) accountable to the temple trust, will maintain its focus on the well-being of devoted followers who have not shown any distrust in the system.
Misra, in an interview, emphasized the need to enhance the system to prevent a recurrence of donation-related issues. He highlighted that devotees’ primary focus remains on Lord Ram, with an increasing number visiting the temple, including Hanuman Garhi, on weekends.
The appointment of a CEO is expected to bring additional oversight to the temple’s operations, with the CEO consulting the General Secretary and working under the temple trust’s guidance. This move aims to strengthen the existing structure without altering the supreme authority of the temple trust.
The core principle guiding the management of Ram Mandir is to prioritize devotees’ needs. Misra stressed that all decisions and actions revolve around devotees’ welfare, underscoring that the temple’s essence lies in serving its followers. As construction nears completion, with only a few tasks remaining, the focus remains on ensuring a conducive environment for devotees.
