Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman, Nripendra Misra, expressed deep regret over the recent donation theft at the Ram Mandir. He assured that the temple administration would enhance its systems to prevent such incidents in the future. Misra, after inspecting the construction progress, stated that the incident had raised concerns among all involved in the project.
The temple project is now in its final phase, with only two major tasks remaining. Misra mentioned that work on the old temple and its memorial is almost complete, except for the arrangement for the 24-hour ‘jwala.’ Additionally, the completion of the memorial is expected by the end of July. He also reviewed the progress of the temple’s boundary wall and expressed confidence in its timely completion by September 30.
Emphasizing the religious and cultural significance of the Ram Mandir, Misra highlighted its unique place in the hearts of devotees worldwide. He described the temple as extraordinary due to its historical significance as the birthplace of Lord Ram. Misra expressed confidence that the number of devotees visiting the temple would remain constant, considering its importance in Sanatan Dharma.
Regarding the oversight mechanism for temple-related issues, Misra explained that a high-level committee, led by a retired judge, provides recommendations directly to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. He mentioned that the Construction Committee conducts regular review meetings with various agencies involved in the project to monitor progress and ensure timely completion of the remaining work.
