The festival of Ram Navami is being observed with great fervor in Bihar, particularly in Patna, where a large number of devotees have gathered at the Mahavir Temple. The temple witnessed a significant turnout of devotees seeking blessings since the early hours of the morning.
The temple’s doors opened at 2:00 AM, followed by rituals and long queues that extended up to a kilometer to the GPO Roundabout until midnight. It is anticipated that around 4 lakh devotees will visit the temple on this auspicious day.
Notable personalities like BJP National President Nitin Nabin and the temple’s Secretary, Sayan Kunal, offered prayers and conducted worship at the temple. The celebrations are expected to be graced by figures such as Nitish Kumar and Samrat Chaudhary.
Devotees chanted “Jai Shri Ram” in a display of devotion while waiting patiently for hours, with the temple adorned with flowers from Kolkata and elaborate lighting. Special arrangements, including 20 LED screens for live viewing and an 80-ton AC unit for comfort, have been made for devotees inside the temple.
