Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated movie “Love & War,” initially set for an August release, is facing delays. The film’s release has been pushed back due to reshooting of crucial scenes, causing a surge in the budget.
Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, known for his meticulous attention to detail, is reshooting key scenes to achieve perfection in his upcoming project. These reshoots have significantly increased the already substantial budget of the film.
The extensive rework on the film has resulted in an indefinite postponement of its release date. Ranbir Kapoor recently hinted during an Instagram live session that the movie, originally slated for August 2026, may now premiere later this year or even in 2027.
Despite the delays, Ranbir Kapoor emphasized that projects like “Ramayana” and “Love & War” require additional time due to their grand scale and vision. He assured fans that the extended wait will be rewarding for audiences.
It remains uncertain when the final release date for “Love & War” will be confirmed. The film features Ranbir Kapoor alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in a romantic entertainer reportedly inspired by the 1964 movie “Sangam,” starring Ranbir’s grandfather, Raj Kapoor.
