During an episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’, Ranbir Kapoor shared the reason behind being considered the most educated Kapoor in his family. He recounted how, while in America assisting his late father Rishi Kapoor, his mother Neetu Kapoor joyfully celebrated his 10th-grade board exam results, where he passed with 54.3% marks. Ranbir mentioned that he was the first Kapoor to clear the 10th standard without failing a year, leading to a grand celebration.
When Karan Johar questioned Ranbir about being the first Kapoor boy to pass without failing a year, Ranbir narrated the story of his achievement. He explained that while in America working with his father on a film, his mother received the news of his results, triggering a jubilant reaction. The family celebrated this milestone as a significant event, with his grandmother getting emotional over his academic success.
Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming projects include starring alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’. Additionally, he will play the role of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated mythological drama, “Ramayana”. The project will feature Sai Pallavi as Mata Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, among others.
