During the filming of ‘Sanju’ in 2018, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani disclosed that Ranbir Kapoor would arrive on set as early as 3 am due to the extensive makeup process taking 4 to 5 hours. This early start allowed Kapoor to be ready for the 7 am call time.
Hirani addressed the debate around actors’ work hours, mentioning that while some are open to long shifts, others prefer limited hours. He emphasized that the actors he has collaborated with understand the importance of completing tasks efficiently.
Reflecting on his experience with Ranbir Kapoor on ‘Sanju,’ Hirani recalled the actor’s dedication, arriving early for makeup and shooting for long hours without complaints. The film, led by Kapoor, delves into the life of Sanjay Dutt, portraying aspects like drug addiction and legal troubles.
