Bhavya Ranjan, a student at Oxford School in Ranchi, has achieved national recognition by securing the highest marks in the Arts stream for CBSE Class 12 exams, scoring 99.8%. The school campus was filled with celebrations following the announcement of the results. Teachers and family members attribute Bhavya’s success to hard work, discipline, and consistent guidance.
Bhavya acknowledged her parents, teachers, and the school’s academic environment for her accomplishment. She highlighted the impact of the school’s “Target 100” initiative, which involved daily practice questions and immediate guidance from teachers, making her studies more structured and boosting her confidence. Bhavya scored 499 out of 500 marks, leaving her parents emotional and proud. Her father expressed fulfillment of the family’s aspirations and mentioned her ambition to excel in the civil services.
Stressing the importance of studying at the same school from Class 1 to 12, Bhavya emphasized the role of teacher guidance and a disciplined academic setting in maintaining her focus. She plans to pursue History in both graduation and post-graduation while preparing for civil services. Bhavya’s father prioritized her education by resigning from his private-sector job, while her mother, a teacher herself, actively supported her studies.
The CBSE recently announced the Class 12 board exam results, with an overall pass percentage of 85.20%. Notably, there was a significant decrease in the pass percentage compared to the previous year.
