Ranga Reddy Risers showcased a dominant performance to beat Palamuru Strikers by six wickets in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s TG20 tournament. Aryan Cariappa’s four-wicket haul set the stage for victory, with Avanish Rao and Gnana Prakash Reddy contributing crucially with the bat. The Strikers faced early setbacks, losing two wickets in the initial overs, but Vignesh Reddy’s efforts helped stabilize the innings briefly.
Just as the Strikers seemed to recover, Aryan Cariappa struck again by dismissing Rohit Rayudu, leaving the Strikers struggling at 31/3. Despite some resistance from Shadab Ahmed and Vignesh Reddy in the middle overs, the Strikers could only manage to reach 130 all out. Cariappa’s impressive bowling performance dismantled the Strikers’ batting lineup, leading to a challenging target for the Risers.
In response, the Risers began their chase aggressively, with Gnana Prakash Reddy and Avanish Rao setting a solid foundation. Gnana’s explosive batting and Avanish’s steady contribution propelled the Risers to a commanding position. Even after losing a few wickets, Avanish continued to dominate the Strikers’ bowlers, guiding his team to a comfortable victory with a well-crafted half-century. Tanay and Aditya ensured a smooth finish to the chase, securing a convincing win for the Risers.
