Offset’s mother expressed gratitude on social media for the support her son received after the incident. In a video shared online, she described his recovery as a miracle, emphasizing the importance of prayers and well-wishes from fans. The 34-year-old rapper sustained “non-life threatening injuries” and has since been discharged from the hospital, vowing to focus on his family, recovery, and music career.
In a message shared on Instagram, Offset thanked everyone for their love and concern, assuring them of his well-being and determination to improve. He acknowledged life’s challenges and uncertainties, emphasizing his commitment to moving forward positively. Meanwhile, Lil Tjay, also known as Tione Jayden Merritt, was arrested and charged in connection with the shooting incident, specifically for disorderly conduct.
