The Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM), led by Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha, has bolstered its Bihar state unit by appointing new state-level office-bearers and spokespersons. This move, guided by the party’s National President Upendra Kushwaha, aims to fortify the organization’s presence across Bihar. The appointments were unveiled by RLM State President Alok Kumar Singh in the presence of senior party members and workers, emphasizing a diverse representation of regions and social groups.
The party’s leadership views this organizational expansion as a strategic step to enhance the RLM’s grassroots effectiveness and prepare for upcoming political and electoral tests. State President Alok Kumar Singh urged the newly appointed officials to champion the party’s ideology with integrity and dedication. Strengthening the party’s grassroots structure and effectively communicating its policies to the public are highlighted as key responsibilities for the new team.
The revamped organizational setup is anticipated to broaden the RLM’s outreach and solidify its position in Bihar. Plans for future organizational initiatives to expand the party’s reach and engage with the public were also outlined. Notably, the RLM, an NDA ally, secured four out of five seats it contested in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, showcasing its strength within the alliance. Snehlata Kushwaha, wife of RLM National President Upendra Kushwaha, emerged victorious in the polls, while Upendra Kushwaha’s son, Deepak Prakash, currently serves as the Panchayati Raj Minister in the Bihar government.
