Rashtriya Lok Morcha National President Upendra Kushwaha has announced a significant restructuring of the party in Bihar, appointing new leaders to bolster the organization. MLA Alok Kumar Singh has been named the State President of Rashtriya Lok Morcha, following the dissolution of the party’s structure post the Assembly elections. This move aims to enhance the party’s presence and effectiveness in Bihar.
The reorganization, unveiled during a press conference in Patna, signifies a fresh leadership team being put in place after thorough consultations. Upendra Kushwaha praised Alok Kumar Singh’s capabilities, highlighting his experience and efficiency in organizational matters, expressing optimism about the party’s growth under his guidance. To ensure a balanced approach, Prashant Pankaj and Subhash Chandravanshi have been appointed as State Working Presidents.
Himanshu Patel has been designated as State Principal General Secretary, and Madan Chaudhary as National Vice President (Organization). Kushwaha emphasized the importance of Madan Chaudhary’s expertise in organizational development at a national level. A special membership drive is set to kick off soon to expand the party’s grassroots presence, focusing on engaging youth, women, and marginalized communities.
The new organizational structure prioritizes accountability, with office bearers entrusted to boost membership, fortify local units, and advocate for public issues in their regions. Kushwaha warned against organizational inertia, stressing the need for proactive engagement at all levels. Looking ahead, he discussed the upcoming budgets, with the Union Budget scheduled for February 1 and the Bihar State Budget on February 3.
Kushwaha highlighted the high expectations of Bihar’s populace from the Union government, urging substantial support in critical sectors like infrastructure, education, healthcare, employment, agriculture, and industry. He called for a deeper understanding of Bihar’s requirements and meaningful assistance from the Centre. The party’s primary focus remains on strengthening its structure and championing Bihar’s development concerns more assertively.
In a bid to amplify the voices of common citizens, the party plans to reach every village to address grassroots issues on a political platform. Kushwaha encouraged party members to embrace the reorganization as a fresh start, rallying them to work diligently towards building a robust and disciplined party.
