India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja engaged in specialized training ahead of the first ODI against New Zealand at Kotambi Stadium. In a video shared by the BCCI, Jadeja was seen practicing a distinctive bowling technique. Guided by bowling coach Morne Morkel, Jadeja aimed to pitch the ball accurately between colored cones as per instructions.

During the training, Jadeja explained the task assigned by the coach, where he had to target specific colored cones with precision. He also practiced pitching the ball towards blue-colored balls strategically placed for full deliveries. Jadeja’s meticulous preparation reflects his focus on enhancing his skills for the upcoming matches.

Jadeja, showcasing good form and fitness, recently performed well in domestic cricket matches. His unbeaten 52 against Gujarat and notable contributions in the Vijay Hazare Trophy highlight his current sharpness. With a strong ODI record against New Zealand over 15 years, Jadeja brings a wealth of experience to the upcoming series.

Having missed the Australia series, Jadeja made a successful return to ODI cricket during the South Africa home series. His all-round abilities and consistent performances make him a key player for the Indian team. The upcoming ODI matches against New Zealand present an opportunity for Jadeja to further showcase his skills and contribute significantly to the team’s success.

The ODI series will commence at Kotambi Stadium, followed by matches at Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot and Holkar Stadium in Indore on January 14 and January 18, respectively.
