Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Rajat Patidar is concentrating on leading his team to another IPL victory rather than thinking about a potential return to India’s T20I squad. Patidar expressed his commitment to winning the IPL title ahead of the final against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Patidar, who has scored 486 runs in 14 matches this season, highlighted RCB’s success as a result of a collective team effort rather than individual brilliance. He emphasized the shift in mindset towards shared responsibility and a focus on winning the championship.
The captain praised RCB’s bowling depth, particularly acknowledging Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s performance with 26 wickets this season. He stressed the importance of a strong bowling attack in a high-scoring era and commended the contributions of other bowlers like Rasikh in providing crucial breakthroughs.
RCB aims for their fifth IPL final appearance and the opportunity to become the third franchise to secure back-to-back titles. Patidar expressed confidence in the team’s preparation and emphasized the significance of playing to their strengths rather than comparing themselves to other teams.
