Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured their place in the final of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 by defeating UP Warriorz (UPW) with an eight-wicket victory at the Baroda Cricket Association Stadium in Vadodara. RCB chased down 144 runs comfortably in just 13.1 overs, led by Grace Harris’s 75 runs and skipper Smriti Mandhana’s unbeaten 54. The opening partnership between Harris and Mandhana set a strong foundation, with RCB reaching the target with ease.
In response to UP Warriorz’s 143/8, RCB’s bowlers, especially Nadine de Klerk with figures of 4-22 and Grace Harris with two wickets, restricted the opposition effectively. UP Warriorz, despite a solid start from skipper Meg Lanning and Deepti Sharma, failed to accelerate in the later overs. RCB’s dominant performance not only secured their spot in the final but also dashed UP Warriorz’s playoff hopes.
RCB’s commanding victory showcased their form and determination, with the team displaying a clinical performance to outclass UP Warriorz and advance to the final of the Women’s Premier League 2026.
