After securing a monumental win in the IPL 2026 final, Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Director of Cricket, Mo Bobat, motivated the team to embrace the winning feeling. RCB clinched the title at the Narendra Modi Stadium by defeating Gujarat Titans, becoming the third team in IPL history to achieve consecutive championships.

Bobat emphasized to the squad that this triumph marks the start of a dominant era for the franchise. Following their victory, RCB joined Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians as the only franchises to retain the IPL title, solidifying their status among the league’s elite.

In a video shared on RCB’s social media, Bobat encouraged the players to savor the winning sensation and let it fuel their hunger for future success. He stressed the importance of being addicted to the feeling of victory, as it serves as a driving force for the team’s aspirations.

Captain Rajat Patidar’s decision to bowl first proved beneficial as RCB’s seamers swiftly dismantled GT’s batting lineup, restricting them to 155/8. RCB’s response was led by Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 75 and Venkatesh Iyer’s 32, propelling the team to chase down the target with 12 balls to spare, sealing the victory in style.
