History was made in the Bengal T20 League Season 3 at Eden Gardens when Karan Lal’s outstanding all-round display led Servotech Siliguri Strikers to a dominant 73-run victory over Adamas Howrah Warriors. Karan smashed an impressive 145 runs off just 64 balls, including 14 sixes and seven fours, marking the second century in the league’s history.
Adamas Howrah Warriors struggled to build momentum in response and were eventually bowled out for 158 runs in 19.2 overs. Despite Shakir Habib Gandhi’s quick 40 off 20 balls, the team lacked support from the rest of the batting order. Siliguri’s bowling attack, led by Akhilesh Yadav with figures of 3/19, Shivamm Bharati with 2/21, and Karan with 2/29, ensured a comprehensive victory.
Karan set multiple records during his remarkable innings, including the highest individual run in Bengal T20 League history (145 off 64 balls) and the most sixes in an innings (14). Servotech Siliguri Strikers also established team records, hitting the most sixes in an innings (16) and achieving the highest team total of 231/2.
