A female software engineer tragically lost her life in Indore’s Sagarshree Enclave after a car allegedly hit her during a dispute. Following this incident, the Residents Welfare Association (RWA) has taken a decision to prohibit the renting of flats to bachelors in the township.
Gaurav Naik, the president of Sagarshree Enclave, mentioned that residents had raised concerns about commercial activities and disturbances caused by bachelor tenants. As a result, the RWA has enforced a ban on renting flats to bachelors, urging flat owners to rent only to families.
The construction of Sagarshree Enclave was recently completed, with people beginning to move into their flats over the past month and a half. Naik highlighted ongoing disputes with the builder over development issues and the lack of amenities provided to residents.
The tragic incident occurred due to a dispute over the commercial use of a penthouse in the society, leading to the death of Sampada Pathak, a software engineer. The car involved was driven by Mohit, the son of a resident who had rented out penthouses for commercial purposes. Both Mohit and his father have been arrested by the police, who are conducting further investigations.
