It has been six years since the renowned Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away. On his death anniversary, his wife Neetu Kapoor shared a nostalgic photo of the couple on social media. The photo captured Rishi Ji and Neetu sitting together, smiling at the camera with the words “Always in our hearts” written on it.
Rishi and Neetu’s daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, also honored her late father on social media. She posted a portrait of Rishi Ji on her official Instagram account, expressing her ongoing love and remembrance for him. The heartfelt message conveyed her sentiments of celebrating, loving, and missing him until they meet again.
Rishi and Neetu’s love story began in 1974 when they met on the set of “Zehreela Insaan.” Starting as colleagues, their relationship blossomed into love over time. They eventually tied the knot in 1980 and were blessed with two children, Riddhima in 1980 and Ranbir in 1982.
Throughout their careers, Rishi and Neetu appeared together in various films like “Doosara Aadmi,” “Rafoo Chakkar,” “Besharam,” and many more. Tragically, Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, after battling leukemia for two years. He was 76 years old at the time of his demise.
Rishi’s final film, “Sharmaji Namkeen,” remained unfinished, with veteran actor Paresh Rawal stepping in to complete his role. Looking ahead, Neetu Kapoor is set to play a significant part in the upcoming movie “Daadi Ki Shaadi,” which will also mark the Bollywood debut of Riddhima.
