Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh, currently a jailor on Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, criticized contestant Yogesh Rawat for claiming his eviction affected the show’s TRPs. Riteish confronted Yogesh, stating the show is not dependent on any single contestant and emphasized that eliminations are based on the game’s tasks, not personal preferences.
Expressing displeasure at Yogesh’s attitude, Riteish highlighted that the reality show’s integrity surpasses individual participants. He pointed out that decisions like eliminations are made through fair tasks, not by the host, mentor, or the streaming platform’s choices.
Riteish also highlighted the humility of co-contestant Ram Kapoor, underscoring that even established stars do not consider themselves superior to the platform. He emphasized that the show’s success is a collective effort and not driven by any single contestant’s actions.
The Netflix show features prominent personalities like Shilpa Shinde, Akanksha Chaudhary, Ram Kapoor, and others. Hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, the show’s first edition was hosted by Kangana in 2022, with Karan Kundrra as the Jailor for the season and Munawar Faruqui emerging as the winner.
The upcoming season will include 14 inmates, 2 jailers, and a 6-week lock-up scenario. Inmates must complete tasks to earn in-game currency for necessities like food and supplies, following the show’s rules.
