Actor Riteish Deshmukh, currently playing a jailor on “Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa,” shared a valuable piece of advice from veteran screenwriter Salim Khan with contestant Akanksha Chaudhary. Akanksha, upset over facing consequences for her behavior with Shreya Kalra, was comforted by Riteish, who reminded her to keep moving forward despite setbacks. The show also saw Shreya winning the “Kharcha Paani” task by lifting half of Ram Kapoor’s weight and earning Rs 1 lakh for their cell.
In another turn of events, contestant Yogesh Rawat’s argument with Riteish did not sit well with the Bollywood star, who emphasized fair treatment for all participants. The Netflix series features popular personalities like Akanksha Chaudhary, Yogesh Rawat, Sunita Ahuja, Ram Kapoor, Shreya Kalra, and others, with Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh as hosts. The first season of “Lock Upp,” hosted by Kangana in 2022, crowned Munawar Faruqui as the winner.
The upcoming season will house 14 inmates, 2 jailers, and a single lock-up for six weeks, where participants must complete tasks to earn in-game currency for necessities like food and supplies. The show aims to maintain a competitive and fair environment for all contestants.
