Amid rumors linking him to Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Abhay Kushwaha has dismissed talks of switching to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Kushwaha clarified that his recent meeting with the Chief Minister focused solely on development projects in his constituency and should not be seen as a political move. Emphasizing his loyalty to RJD and its leaders Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav, he reaffirmed his commitment to the party.
Highlighting his socialist political background, Kushwaha mentioned his journey from being a Panchayat head to an MLA and now an MP. He reiterated his adherence to the ideology of Lalu Prasad Yadav and stated that RJD is his final political destination. Kushwaha firmly stated that he has no intentions of leaving RJD, even in the future, and that the party has entrusted him with significant responsibilities that he will continue to fulfill.
Regarding his discussion with the Chief Minister, Kushwaha outlined various infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing connectivity in the region. These projects include a proposed road linking Banke Bazar to Madanpur and the upgrade of State Highway and National Highway-139 into a four-lane corridor. He clarified that seeking the Chief Minister’s support for development initiatives is part of his duty as an elected representative and should not be misconstrued as a shift in political allegiance.
