Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav criticized the BJP and NDA for their recent “Akrosh March,” labeling it as a headline management tactic. He accused the parties of exploiting the event to showcase disarray within the NDA. Yadav also condemned the misuse of administrative power during the protest, alleging disruptions to public movement and a display of arrogance.
Jeevika Didis, as per Yadav, were allegedly misled to gather crowds for the march, a move he deemed inappropriate. He questioned the BJP’s dedication to women’s representation, contrasting it with his party’s track record. The RJD spokesperson challenged the BJP to reveal similar data on female representation in elections.
Yadav highlighted discord within the NDA, pointing out instances like JDU MLA Leshi Singh’s departure from the event due to perceived disrespect. He raised concerns about the lack of a “quota within quota” provision for marginalized women in the women’s reservation issue. Yadav also criticized the BJP for delays in implementing the Women’s Reservation Bill and accused them of politicizing the matter.
