Actor Rohit Roy recently commended Emraan Hashmi for being one of the easiest actors to direct, following their collaboration in an advertisement. Roy expressed admiration for Hashmi’s work ethic, describing him as a breath of fresh air. The duo efficiently completed the shoot ahead of schedule, as revealed by Roy in a social media post featuring a photo with Hashmi.
Roy and Hashmi had previously worked together in the 2021 film “Mumbai Saga,” alongside other notable actors like Kajal Aggarwal, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Prateik Babbar. The movie, directed by Sanjay Gupta, depicted the transformation of Mumbai from the ’80s to ’90s amidst industrial changes.
Emraan Hashmi is set to star in the upcoming spy action thriller “G2” alongside Adivi Sesh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Madhu Shalini. The film, a sequel to the 2018 release “Goodachari,” will see Adivi Sesh reprising his role. Produced by People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments, “G2” is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 1.
