Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, and Zhao Xintong secured spots in the last 16 of the World Snooker Open in Yushan, China. O’Sullivan dominated Matthew Selt with a 5-0 victory, including a remarkable 138 break in just nine minutes. Trump, the world’s top-ranked player, triumphed over Jackson Page 5-2, while Zhao Xintong, the reigning world champion, defeated Sam Craigie 5-1 with a century break.

In other matches, Shaun Murphy, Stuart Bingham, Kyren Wilson, and Mark Williams were also in action. Defending champion John Higgins faced an unexpected first-round exit, losing 5-4 to Britain’s Stan Moody. Moody’s precise potting and solid cueing helped him secure the win, despite Higgins’ strong comeback in the later frames.

The day also saw Judd Trump and Zhao Xintong secure victories. Trump defeated Florian Nuessle 5-1, while Zhao Xintong overcame Long Zehuang 5-4 to advance to the next round.
