Roundglass Hockey Academy girls made history by defeating Tamil Nadu Hockey Academy 41-0 at the 4th Hockey India Sub Junior Women Academy Championship 2026 – Zone A & B in Gwalior. This victory stands as the largest in the tournament’s history. The Roundglass team dominated from the start, scoring 8 goals in the first quarter and extending their lead to 19-0 by halftime.
In a remarkable display of attacking hockey, Roundglass continued their onslaught with 9 more goals in the third quarter and an additional 13 goals in the final 15 minutes. The team’s exceptional performance was led by Saloni, who scored an impressive 12 goals and was named Player of the Match. Captain Rashmeen Kaur and Harmanjot Kaur also excelled, each contributing seven goals.
The attacking prowess of the team was evident as Ruksana scored five goals, Harmanpreet Kaur netted four, and Diya, Muskan Gill, Anjali, and Mehakdeep Kaur added to the tally. In other matches, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy secured a 15-0 win, and Raja Karan Hockey Academy and Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy Sonepat emerged victorious in their respective competitions.
