Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat stressed the importance of unity and compassion in a world plagued by conflict during a speech in Jaipur. Bhagwat highlighted the failure of global institutions like the League of Nations and the United Nations in preventing wars despite their establishment post-World Wars.
He expressed concern over the ongoing conflicts, attributing them to people forgetting compassion and the fundamental truth of human unity. Bhagwat also discussed the concept of unity in diversity, underscoring the shared values across different religions and sects.
During the event, Bhagwat unveiled a commemorative coin and a special postage stamp honoring Dada Gurudev, emphasizing the common destination despite diverse paths. He urged the recognition of diversity while upholding unity, a principle deeply rooted in India’s cultural philosophy.
The three-day Chadar Mahotsav, a rare spiritual gathering in the Jain community after 871 years, aims to promote peace, unity, and compassion, echoing the teachings of Dada Gurudev and reinforcing the message of righteous living.
