RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, speaking at the “New Horizons” lecture series during the RSS centenary, emphasized Bharat’s potential to become a superpower while also serving as a Vishwaguru. He highlighted the importance of leading through example rather than domination for Bharat to achieve this status.
Bhagwat underscored the significance of hard work, character-building, and societal organization in the journey towards becoming a Vishwaguru. He emphasized that as long as Dharma remains the guiding force for Bharat, it will continue to play a crucial role in uplifting the world, advocating for a balance between spiritual materialism and extremes like capitalism and communism.
During the event commemorating the RSS Centenary Year, attended by various eminent personalities, Bhagwat clarified the concept of Dharma as a universal discipline that sustains all life forms. He emphasized the indigenous nature of the Hindu identity, rooted in Bharat’s ethos, and called for reclaiming this shared heritage for social harmony and national strength.
Bhagwat also addressed the misconception surrounding the term secularism, advocating for panthnirpekshata instead of dharmanirpekshata. He highlighted the RSS’s enduring commitment to Sanatan values and its unwavering dedication to Bharat’s civilizational ethos, emphasizing the organization’s resilience in the face of challenges.
