Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is set to arrive in Ahmedabad for a two-day organisational visit. The RSS clarified that no public events are scheduled during his stay. Bhagwat will address a program by Punarutthan Vidyapeeth on Wednesday morning before departing from the city.
This visit is focused on internal organisational activities, as stated by the RSS Gujarat Province. Bhagwat, who has been the RSS chief since 2009, frequently visits Gujarat for engagements with various institutions. In the past, he has visited the state for similar purposes, including interactions with religious leaders and attending programmes.
During his previous visits, Bhagwat engaged in religious activities and met with spiritual leaders in Gujarat. The RSS chief emphasized the importance of dialogue with young individuals during a recent national gathering in New Delhi. The current visit is solely for organisational purposes, with no public programs beyond the scheduled address at Punarutthan Vidyapeeth.
