Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is set to visit Gujarat for a two-day tour starting Wednesday. He will first head to the RSS provincial office in Ahmedabad at 10:30 a.m. Upon arrival, he will proceed to the Shree Swaminarayan Temple, Vadtaldham in Kheda district, between 4:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. to offer prayers and engage with saints.
The following morning, Bhagwat will participate in the Shri Revti Baldevji Harikrishna Maharaj Bicentenary (Dwishattabdi) Patotsav program at Shree Swaminarayan Temple, Jetalpurdham in Ahmedabad from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. During this time, he will partake in prayers and meet with the temple’s religious community. Bhagwat is expected to conclude his visit by departing from Ahmedabad around 4 p.m. on Thursday.
Bhagwat has been a frequent visitor to Gujarat in recent years for organizational assessments and religious commitments. In October 2025, he embarked on a three-day trip to Gujarat, engaging in various events and discussions with leaders in preparation for the organization’s centenary-year activities in the state. Earlier in January 2025, he visited the Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur, where he engaged with spiritual leaders and members of the ashram community. His previous visits to the state have involved interactions with swayamsevaks and local office-bearers in cities like Ahmedabad and Surat. The upcoming Gujarat tour is part of Bhagwat’s routine visits to different states to review organizational functions, current trends, and to participate in cultural and religious events.
