Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Indresh Kumar noted that while terrorist incidents have reduced in Jammu and Kashmir, they still pose a challenge for security forces. Kumar commended the efforts of the government, Army, and society in combating terrorism in the region.

Despite the decline in terrorist activities, Kumar expressed concern over sporadic violent incidents that continue to occur. He condemned such acts, emphasizing that they reflect cowardice and cruelty on the part of the perpetrators. He highlighted the need for ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorism from the entire Jammu and Kashmir region.

Kumar stressed that eradicating terrorism remains a significant challenge for security forces and society, particularly in the Kashmir Valley. He expressed confidence that with the substantial decrease in terrorist activities, the day is not far when the entire region will be free from terrorism. Additionally, he praised the resilience of the Indian people in the face of terrorist threats.

In response to recent events in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, Kumar criticized Pakistan for its internal oppression and predicted potential disintegration due to its actions. He referenced historical separations within Pakistan and ongoing struggles in regions like Balochistan and Sindh. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the family of the slain Head Constable Ashiq Hussain Qureshi.
