RSS National Executive Member Indresh Kumar stated that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the alleged misappropriation of donations and offerings at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has been granted full autonomy. Kumar emphasized the importance of not politicizing the issue and expressed confidence in addressing any misconduct strictly.
Kumar highlighted that the government, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) are actively ensuring justice in response to the controversy surrounding temple donations. He affirmed that the SIT is conducting a thorough investigation, with all relevant entities cooperating to uphold justice and integrity.
Reiterating the independence of the investigating agency, Kumar emphasized that the SIT has complete freedom to conduct its inquiry. He underscored the collective support from the organization, the Trust, and the government to ensure accountability and justice prevail, reassuring the nation amidst ongoing provocations and attempts to politicize the matter.
Amid increasing scrutiny over financial irregularities linked to donations at the Ram Temple, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust acknowledged the resignations of General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Anil Mishra. Both officials stepped down on moral grounds following public outcry over alleged misappropriation of funds, with the Trust planning to deliberate on their resignations in an upcoming meeting.
The Trust expressed deep concern over the donation controversy, pledging to address the issue with sincerity and uphold the trust of millions of Lord Ram’s devotees. Affirming its commitment to a transparent investigation, the Trust vowed to restore devotees’ confidence in the temple’s administration while navigating the fallout from the allegations.
