Congress leader Sachin Pilot expressed unity with former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, comparing their bond to that of a father and son during an event commemorating late leader Rajesh Pilot. The gathering at Rajesh Pilot Memorial witnessed a large turnout, with Sachin Pilot honoring the legacy alongside his sons and other party members. Pilot also criticized BJP governments for alleged failures in various sectors, calling for opposition unity against what he termed as flawed governance.
Sachin Pilot raised concerns over issues like leaked exam papers, declining farmer incomes, and rising fuel prices, attributing these problems to the ruling BJP. He highlighted alleged corruption cases in Rajasthan and criticized the government for its handling of law and order. Pilot also accused the government of delaying local body elections and questioned the effectiveness of rural employment and agricultural policies.
Emphasizing the need for accountability, Pilot urged the BJP to focus on its own performance rather than blaming past Congress governments. He stressed the importance of unity within the Congress party to uphold Rahul Gandhi’s vision and strengthen the organization. Pilot further addressed the cancellation of a party member’s nomination, labeling it a conspiracy and indicating potential legal action to address the issue.
