BJP leader Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur stirred controversy by stating that a foreign woman’s son is unfit to rule, citing Chanakya’s views. She criticized the Congress for lacking ideology and accused them of tarnishing the RSS’s image. Thakur emphasized the importance of lineage in governance and asserted the supremacy of Sanatan religion.
Referring to the Bhojshala religious dispute, Thakur called for a permanent solution to ensure uninterrupted darshan. The Supreme Court recently issued directives to maintain peace during religious activities at the Bhoj Shala–Kamal Maula complex in Madhya Pradesh.
