Salesforce has introduced Agentforce Voice in Hindi to empower Indian organizations in delivering more natural, multilingual, and inclusive AI-driven customer interactions on a large scale. Arundhati Bhattacharya, President and CEO of Salesforce South Asia, emphasized that the future of AI in India will not solely rely on code but will also involve communication in local languages. This new feature is tailored to facilitate seamless Hindi and Hinglish conversations, enabling businesses to engage with users more effectively, especially in tier 2 and 3 markets.
The Agentforce Voice, integrated into the trusted Agentforce platform, merges conversational AI, enterprise data, and workflows while maintaining strict controls to ensure secure and consistent customer engagements aligned with policies. This development comes at a time when voice interfaces are gaining prominence in digital interactions across Bharat, particularly among non-English-speaking users who are increasingly embracing mobile and voice-centric experiences.
Highlighting the significance of conversational and culturally contextual AI for India’s diverse user base, Bhattacharya stated that voice interactions are emerging as the most intuitive digital interface, particularly in Bharat. By incorporating Hindi voice capabilities into Agentforce, Salesforce aims to revolutionize customer engagement by leveraging AI that not only comprehends words but also cultural nuances, intentions, and trust factors.
In addition to the Agentforce Voice launch, Salesforce also revealed the upcoming availability of MuleSoft on Hyperforce in India. This advancement will enable organizations to implement integrations, APIs, and AI-driven workflows on locally hosted infrastructure. Bhattacharya emphasized that by introducing MuleSoft on Hyperforce in India, businesses, especially those in regulated sectors, will have the opportunity to transition to the cloud securely, scale operations, automate processes intelligently, and develop cutting-edge digital experiences on locally hosted infrastructures.
