Despite belonging to different religions, the Khan family resides together peacefully, with Salim Khan acknowledging it as a gift from Allah.
Salim Khan shared that the unity within his family, comprising Muslims, Hindus, and Catholics, is a result of divine will, emphasizing that they have never faced any conflicts over religious differences. He credited Allah for the harmonious coexistence and stressed the significance of sensible choices in leading a content life. While Salim Khan and his sons primarily follow Islam, his first wife, Salma Khan, comes from a Maharashtrian Hindu background. Even his former daughter-in-law, Malaika Arora, embraced Christianity from her mother’s side. Despite the diverse religious affiliations, the family cherishes togetherness and celebrates each festival with equal warmth and enthusiasm.
