Salman Khan’s production house SKF has refuted claims that the film ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’ is facing problems with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The production house clarified that the movie has not yet been submitted for certification and labeled the rumors as entirely unfounded. They emphasized the importance of avoiding the spread of unverified information.
Reports had circulated recently about the film undergoing changes and reshoots. Initially named ‘Battle Of Galwan,’ the movie, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and featuring Chitrangada Singh, is based on a real-life incident from the 2020 China–India border clashes.
SKF Salman Khan Films urged media outlets and individuals to refrain from sharing unconfirmed details and assured that any official updates regarding the film will come directly from them.
