The Samajwadi Party and Congress launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led NDA during the Monsoon Session of Parliament. They questioned the government’s responsibility regarding the NEET paper leak and compared the Delhi Police’s handling of protesters to historical atrocities.

Scores of individuals, led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), marched to Parliament demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan due to the NEET paper leak on May 3.

Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav expressed shock at the government’s behavior, citing injuries, fractures, and the use of tear gas during the protest. He criticized the government for failing to provide proper medical treatment to those injured.

Referring to a video, Yadav likened the police actions to those of Adolf Hitler, condemning such behavior in a democratic setup. He questioned the government’s commitment to its slogan of ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ in light of recent events.

Congress members also criticized the government’s handling of the situation. They drew parallels between the police action and historical events like the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, emphasizing the need for accountability and transparency in the examination system.
